This lesson will introduce you to the normal cardiac rhythms and prepare you to recognize basic cardiac arrhythmias in clinical practice. The lesson consists of 4 parts:
 
Part 1: Introduction to the Cardiac Cycle will introduce you to basic rhythms and show you how the ECG strip depicts cardiac impulses.
 
Part 2: Arrhythmias will introduce the most common arrhythmias encountered in clinical practice.
 
Part 3: Rhythm Summary will present the most important characteristics of rhythm recognition together. You will learn how to easily identify the various arrhythmias, and you will get a chance to test your skills.
 
Part 4: Completion Examination concludes the lesson. Successful completion of this exam qualifies you for the Rhythm Module 1 Certificate. You are allowed 3 attempts to achieve the required score of 84%.
